Girls Trip

Last weekend 5 out of 6 of our high school group went to St. George for a girls trip. We try to get together for dinner once a month, but this was way fun to be able to laugh about the old days! Kylee, Whitney, Wendy, Kristin and myself went. We stayed in Whit's condo and layed out by the pool on Saturday- the weather was gorgeous. As the pictures show, I'm still white as a ghost- the only thing that tanned was my stomach but after having a baby my tummy showing days are over (not that I ever really had those days, but you know). Anyway, we had such a great time and we all decided it needs to happen at least once a year!

Macie's 1st Birthday

Macie turned 1 on April 3rd. We had a small party at our house to celebrate. She got her own cake that she didn't really know what to do with. She mostly just played in it and squished it between her hands- I was okay with the fact that she didn't eat a lot! We had a pinata for the other kids and I made a slideshow of her first year. It was a fun day. I can't believe my baby is one! She's walking all over and saying lots of words, her favorite being "no!"

Easter 2008

This was Macie's 2nd Easter before she turned one! She didn't care much for the Easter bunny, but she liked the Easter eggs. She would find one and point and say "ball"- close enough! She just recently started walking as well- and I thought life was busy before!

Macie Kathryn Davies

Macie was born on April 3, 2007 at 3:46am. She was 8lbs 3oz- she was 6 days late! I had a quick & easy labor, drug-free! She is such a blessing in our lives and we love her so much!
