Murder Mystery Dinner

Our friends had a murder mystery dinner a couple weekends ago and we had to dress up as different characters from the 1940s.  I was a French woman that wore furs...luckily my mom's neighbor had a fur I could borrow since fur isn't exactly apart of my wardrobe (although after wearing it it might become part of my wardrobe because I kind of liked it!)  Tony was supposed to be a German Gestapo agent but didn't try very hard to get his outfit together so he ended up looking like he was going to church!  Anyway, we had a delicous dinner and played the game and guess who was the only one that got both murderers correct??? ME!  I took some serious notes...maybe my calling in life is to be a detective!  Haha!  Anyway it was such a fun night!

Breakfast with the Witches

My family went to Breakfast with the Witches at Gardner Village this year.  We had a yummy breakfast buffet of all kinds of delicious breakfast foods and then the witches put on a little program afterwards.  It was kind of fun for the kids!
Halle was scared of the rat they put on the table in front of her! ;)

Grandma Vickie

Macie with one of the cute witches...not smiling of course!

Joey & Mack....they were way "too cool" to be there, but they were pretty good sports!

Macie actually smiling for a picture....it's a miracle! ;)

Thriller

A few weeks ago I went to Thriller with my mother-in-law and 2 sister-in-laws at Kingsbury Hall.  We had dinner at Macaroni Grill and then went to the show.  It was awesome....I hadn't been since I was in high school (which seems like just yesterday but sadly was almost 10 years ago!!!)  We had a great time!
Dixie, Tracey, Dead Guy, Holly, Me
Me and Creepy Girl....that kind of stuff freaks me out but I was trying to laugh about it! ;)

Kids Photo Shoot

I started looking into getting some pictures done recently and I guess I didn't realize how expensive it is!  Being the frugal person that I am (I've become this way in the last 5 years being married to Mr. Frugal himself!) I decided to try and do some of my own photography!  I did buy a nice camera 2 years ago for Christmas with the intentions of doing this, so I guess it's about time!  I'm no pro, but I think they turned out pretty dang cute!
I love this one of him...it's like he's saying "I'm sexy and you know it!"  Haha! ;)

If anyone is interested in my amateur photo skills I'm only charging $25 for my time....call me! ;)

Halle's Birthday Party

I can't believe my niece is 5 already!  I was able to be there during her birth (which seems like it was yesterday!) and I think that might be the reason I feel like she's half mine!  Sure do love that girl!
For her birthday party she had some friends go to Little Chef's...it's a darling place in Draper that does cooking classes, parties, etc.  All the kids got to make their very own mini pizzas...Macie of course made the biggest mess!  It was so cute and the kids loved it!
Notice Macie's flour is everywhere!

Macie's pizza creation...she wanted hers to be the shape of a heart!
