Photoshoot Oct 2011

Since I'm cheap and don't want to pay a photographer I decided to take another round of photos of the kids since they are growing like crazy!  I thought it would be fun to try out Gardner Village again and look at the witches and do some fun stuff there and kind of kill 2 birds with one stone.  I forgot how BUSY it gets this time of year and when we pulled in there were lines of cars going in and going out and people EVERYWHERE!  Had I not gotten the kids ready for pics I would have kept driving, but I decided to brave the crowd!  So finding places where people weren't was kind of a challenge, which is why there aren't very many pics.  They turned out pretty cute, though!

This one makes me laugh...I wanted to get another cute pic of one of them kissing the other's cheek, but they kept kissing on the lips...and this one looks like they are making out!  I will use this one day to show them how much they love each other!  Haha!

Pumpkin Patch

Last week we went with Macie's preschool class to the Pumpkin Patch.  I was very impressed with this cute, family owned place!  The kids all got their pictures taken on a tractor of their choice...there were lots to choose from!  Then we went through a little corn maze...the perfect size kind that doesn't take an hour to get through and nobody gets lost in!  Then we went to a little barn and Macie's teacher read everyone a "spooky" Halloween story.  Then we went on a hayride around the farm, then got to pick out our pumpkins.  The weather ended up being really nice and the kids loved it!  I forgot to get a picture of the pumpkins that my kids picked out, but I'll get some when we carve them this weekend.

The kids listening to the "spooky" story...Macie is Miss Hollywood with the glasses on!

Nevermind her snotty nose...tis the season!  :)

Aquarium Field Trip

A couple of weeks ago Macie's class went to the Aquarium for a field trip.  I was in charge of the boys that rode with us, Tyler and Dallas (Macie's boyfriend, and of course Macie & Pax.  It was kind of crazy trying to keep track of 4 kids on my own, but the kids had fun!

Rub-A-Dub-Dub Two Kids in a Tub

I realized the other night that I hadn't taken any recent bath photos of the kids...and for some reason they look so cute when they're taking baths...so I had to snap a few!  They LOVE bathtime!  One day they'll be too old to take a bath together, but for now it's easier (and more fun for them) to share the bath!

18 Month Check-up

Last week we went to Paxton's 18 month check-up, even though he's closer to 19 months.  Macie was at preschool so it was nice to just have the focus on Pax!  He weighed in at 27.1 lbs and is 33.5 inches tall (both in the 75th percentile).  Dr. B was very impressed with his speaking skills...she said he is talking better than a lot of 2 year olds!
He is a talker!  He finally started saying Macie's name which is SO cute!  When we go to pick her up from school or if he just wants to get her attention he'll say "Aycee!"  When Dr. B asked where Macie was he said "Aycee cool" (Macie school)!  He also said "docta" when she came into the room.  He can pretty much say anything he hears.  The other night I took the cream he was holding to use it and he said clear as day "Hey, dat's mine!"  Then a few minutes later he did a pretend yawn and said "I tiyad" (tired)...it made me laugh, so then he said "I funny!"  He knows when he is being a stinker and he gives the biggest cheesiest grin which always makes me laugh!
Anyway, he had to have 3 shots and it was very sad, but he stopped crying pretty quick...he had a popsicle so that was all he cared about!
Other than that, he is still growing like a weed!  He loves to sing songs and his favorite 2 at the moment are "The Wheels on the Bus" and "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and he even does the little actions to them, it's pretty cute!
I feel like I am constantly chasing him around, getting him off of tables/chairs/other things he has climbed on, telling him no, and getting balls/other objects thrown at me...but he makes me laugh and I wouldn't trade him for anything!

Snowbird

A few weekends ago we went up to Snowbird for Oktoberfest with my family.  While we were there we decided to get some pictures...everyone but ours turned out pretty good...my brother took ours and he is obviously not a future photographer!  We had fun, though...the weather was beautiful and it was fun to see all the leaves changing in the mountains!  I love fall!

My brother and his cute family!

Our not-so-great photo...my kids apparently thought they were gansta!  Haha!

My cute parents!
