As trashy, overpriced, and gross as it is we continue to go to the state fair every year! This year Macie actually did enjoy it. She got to go through a little pretend dairy farm and milk a cow, brush a lamb, pick apples, get eggs from a chicken coupe, plant & pick crops, and ride a tractor. At the end she got a "dollar" for putting all of her pretend items away in the correct bins and she got to buy one item from the "country store"- she got chocolate milk (her favorite!) It was such a cute idea!
We also walked through and saw the cows, goats, pigs & sheep. And we got to see our friend Charley perform! It was a fun night and Macie had a fun time- she crashed on the way home!
