Arizona

Instead of Newport Beach this year we decided to do our summer vacation on a budget, so we went down to my aunts' houses in Arizona.  We flew in on a Friday night and stayed 8 days.  My mom, Mackensie, Halle and Crew also came with us.  My cousin Nikki & her 2 kids came from California, my cousin Stockton flew in a few days later, and my other cousin Makenzie came home from Florida.  

We hung out at the pool most of the time and relaxed!  The weather was perfect, especially at night...we hung out in/by the pool every night until midnight.  The kids didn't miss the beach at all!  The only damper of the trip was on the second night when Tony decided to do a cannon-ball into the pool to splash us girls in the hot tub...it backfired on him and he ended up breaking his foot!  He was kind of bummed that he didn't get to do much the rest of the trip, but did figure out a way to be in the pool eventually.

On Sunday we went to a fun place called Makutu's Island which is a ginormous play-place!  The kids loved it!

It's hard to see her in this picture, but I finally talked Macie into doing the hang-gliding...she was VERY skeptical at first but ended up loving it!  There were also some crazy slides that me and my aunts and cousins tried that made us all scream!  It was a fun place!

Paxton getting his first haircut!  His hair was growing in all over the place and at different lengths so it was much needed...and it turned out so cute!  He looks like such a big boy now!

Macie showing off her swimming skills!  She is a FISH!  There was one day that the kids got in the pool at 10am, got out for 1 hour for lunch, then got back in and didn't get out until 10pm!  They LOVED it!

Tony and Danny....Danny saved Tony's trip by getting him a waterproof cast protector so he could get in the pool!

We went to a public pool one day for the older boys to do a flow-rider surf thing...Crew was so exhausted that he slept on the lawn chair most of the time!


We miss you Arizona!  We decided that maybe we'll do Newport every other year and do Arizona on the off years!
