Tracey's Baptism

Our sister-in-law Tracey was baptized into the LDS church this past week. We couldn't be more proud of her decision! Casey baptized her in Spanish since he served his mission in Vera Cruz- the whole baptism was short and sweet! Congratulations Tracey and thanks for letting us be a part of this big step in your life!

A Day of Fun!

On Monday Macie and I met Tony for lunch at McDonalds so she could play on the slide. Afterwards, I took her to Wheeler Farm which she loved! She kept asking where the elephants were- I tried to explain the difference between farm animals and zoo animals, but I'm not sure she understood! Anyway, later on Tony, Macie and I went to a Bees baseball game with Casey, Tracey & their kids as well as Tony's mom. Macie had a fun day- she came home and fell asleep within minutes of laying down to watch Barney!

Just watching the ducks & geese swim!

Looking out from the chicken coupe- no real chickens inside of course!

Whit's Baby Shower

My friend Whitney is having twin girls! After years of her and her husband Seth struggling with infertility we are all so excited that they are finally being given the opportunity to be parents! Kristin, Wendy and I gave her a baby shower at my house last weekend. She got a lot of cute things! I am so excited to meet the little ones soon (but not too soon!)

Itty bitty onesies for premies- Macie had the same set in 12 month size- HUGE difference!

This picture turned out kind of dark- it was my genius idea to take a picture in front of a window! Anyway, it's me, Kristin, Whit & Wendy.

Happy Mothers Day!

For Mothers Day we went to church and then up to my aunt Charli's house for dinner with my family. Then we stopped by Tony's parents' house to see his mom. Moms are seriously the best! Macie loves her grandmas and great-grandmas so much! I am so glad I have had the opportunity to be a mother- there is nothing else in the world that I would rather do! I never knew how incredible it could be! Happy Mothers day to all of our moms, aunts, grandmas, cousins, and friends who are mothers! We love you!Macie made this for me in nursery- she was excited to give it to me!

Happy 90th Birthday Granny Hilda!

My Granny Hilda (my dad's mom) turned 90 years old on May 9th! We had a birthday party to celebrate. This woman is absolutely amazing! She LEADS a weekly hiking club, hikes on her own every morning, volunteers for Hospice, and she is an amazing cook and sewer! She is in amazing health- probably better than most people in their 50s and 60s! Most of us can hardly keep up with her! Happy Birthday Granny!Granny Hilda

Race For The Cure

We did the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure again this year downtown. I race for my aunt Pennie who died 10 years ago this year from breast cancer at the age of 33. My mom usually comes but couldn't make it this year, so Tony, Macie and I did it alone. We ran the first mile but there were so many people it was almost impossible to run with a stroller without hitting someone, so we speed-walked the rest. It amazes me every year how many people show up and how many people are affected by breast cancer!
It's an endless street of people whether looking forward or backward- incredible!

Zoo

My mom has had my niece & nephew all this week so we decided to go to the zoo with my friend Cassie & her 2 girls and my friend Brooke & her daughter. The kids had a lot of fun. Macie really liked the elephants! We were all exhausted by the time we left- Macie, Halle, & Crew all fell asleep on the way home!
