First Zoo Trip of the Summer

I decided to get a zoo pass this year so we can go to the zoo whenever we want...I also put my mom on it with us so she can take the kids when she babysits.  Both the kids loved it.  Paxton kept pointing at all the animals and just staring.  They also like the new dinosaur exhibit, especially the one that spits water!  I thought being 85 degrees would be a perfect day to go but after pushing the stroller around and the sun shining it turned out to be pretty hot!  Oh well, bring on the heat, we LOVE summer!

Paxton was so interested in every animal...gotta love those cheeks, too, which is why I love the side view!

Of course we had to do the train ride.  Usually we can get right on but this time we had to wait in line for a little bit and it was hot!  Paxton felt like such a big boy sitting on the bench instead of my lap...he LOVED it!  We were pretty tired by this point so it was nice to just sit and relax for a minute!

After the train the kids played in the water then we headed home...we had a fun day and look forward to many more zoo days!
