Beginning of May

Paxton played spring soccer and it started out kind of slow.  He wasn't very into it and wouldn't go after the ball.  We worked with him at home and at one of his games he was able to get a goal, and then several more after that.  And suddenly it woke something up in him and he started loving soccer!  He looked forward to every game and practice and started doing so well!  He scored at least 1 goal at every game after that.

This kid loves to put on glasses so we took the glass out of some cheap reading glasses so he could wear them.  He seriously cracks me up!  Excuse the nakey pics below...couldn't help myself!

Macie had a mother's day spa at her school on the Friday before Mother's day.  She did my nails, hair, gave me a back scratch and massage, and read to me.  She also wrote me a sweet letter about how she wouldn't choose any other mom to be her mom.  It was fun spending some one-on-one time with her.  I love her!

Pax made me a cute card at preschool for Mother's day.  He was so excited to give it to me and I loved his reason for why he loves me.  My mom found it pretty cute, too!  There is nothing better than being a mom, no matter how stressful it gets sometimes.
