Easter

My cousin Nikki and her 2 kids Allie and Sam came into town for Easter weekend.  It was so fun to have them here for the holiday.  Sam is 10 but Paxton (5) loves him and Sam was so patient with him and treated him like he was his best friend.  Pax was in heaven.  Allie is a year younger than Macie but has the attitude of a 16 yr old like Macie so they are 2 peas in a pod and got along great.  And Nikki is the next best thing I have to a sister.  My kids and I love having them here.  We dyed eggs the day before with them. Grandma Vickie showed us how they used to rub Crisco on their eggs so they'd be nice and shiny.  On Easter morning my kids had a note from the Easter bunny that had them find their eggs first.  Each of them had a "sparkly/glittery egg" that had their big prize in it (which was $5.00 each) and there was a "golden egg" that had their first clue to finding their baskets.  Once they found that egg and their clue they ran around the house following the clues and eventually found their Easter baskets in the bathtub!  They loved it.  They got a few fun things from the Easter Bunny and we gave Brady a few presents for his birthday since it was the same day.  We stopped by Tony's parents' to visit them then went to my parents' house where we had everyone together for an egg hunt and dinner.  It was a fun day.
