When did this little boy of mine grow up? I feel like just yesterday he was this little baby and now he's 4 years old!

Since I had to work on Pax's birthday we celebrated on the Sunday before. That morning Pax woke up to his Batman birthday balloons and a new Ninja Turtle bike. After breakfast we took a family bike ride so Pax could ride his new bike...we rode to the park and played for a little while. We gave him a few more gifts when we got home and then later on everyone came over for ice cream and cake.

On Pax's actual birthday Tony took the day off while I worked. He went to preschool in the morning and took his class donuts and capri-suns. Then Tony picked him up and took him to lunch at ChickFilA (his favorite!) Then he took him to Scheels and let him play and hang out there which he loves. After I got off work we went to Tony's brother's little ceremony to swear him in as sergeant in his department. Then we all went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Pax was a little bummed that the saddle was broken, but they did give him a little "shout out" and a bowl of ice cream (which he didn't eat because he doesn't like ice cream!)
Paxton is one of the funniest kids I've ever met. Even when he is in trouble he always comes up with something witty and funny and makes me laugh. He is so fun to be around and such a sweet boy. He will tell me I look pretty and out of the blue he will tell me he loves me. He loves to be cuddled in his towel and held "like a baby" when he gets out of the shower. He knows all of his numbers, colors, and shapes and is learning his letters and sounds so well. He loves to play trains, cars, planes, shooting "guns", any kind of ballgame and loves to play outside. His favorite shows are Planes, Cars 2, Ninja Turtles, Bubble Guppies, and Paw Patrol. He is good at remembering the things he hears, especially songs...and he loves to sing along. He also quotes from his favorite shows a lot which is hilarious! Pax is a good brother and a happy, healthy, smart kid and we are so incredibly lucky to have him!
